Dr. Twana Duncan, DDS has practiced in Antlers, Oklahoma for 25 years. As a general dentist, Dr Twana treats children and adults of all ages, no patient is too small and and no tooth is too old.
Dr. Twana loves to treat children, and has made it her mission to help break the lifelong dental anxieties that many patients face by proactively working to make the dentist a fun and comfortable environment for each person that walks through the door.
At Antlers Family Dentist, PC every patient is treated like family from the time they walk in the door until they leave. Dr. Twana and her team make it their mission to ensure that each and every patient leaves happy, after all, you're never fully dressed without a smile.
Dr. Twana Duncan spends her time helping those in need and improving her community
Dr. Twana is deeply involved in community outreach and sponsors many different sports organizations, FFA, gymnastics Etc for the 20+ schools and students that she sees. Dr Duncan encourages her team to be involved in both volunteering and community service and sponsors trips to the Girls Gone Wine 6k breast cancer walk, Oklahoma Missions of Mercy, and a community wide Pay It Forward day each year.
Something that makes her office very unique is the playroom, which is the focal point of the practice. for the first time in history, children are begging to STAY at the dentist, because they have so much fun. The room is designed as a magical forest, complete with a tooth fairy that was made to look like Dr Duncan, which the children love. One patient even refers to Dr. Duncan as "Dr. Teeth", which she finds very funny.
Dr. Duncan has numerous awards including the Friend Of Little Dixie- National Award, Voted “Best Area Dentist” Readers’ Choice Award, and more!
Dr Twana is also fluent in sign language and believes that every patient should feel comfortable with communicating and making sure they understand the process of dentistry, therefore Dr. Duncan employs several different employees that are bilingual to ensure this.
Another cause that is close to her heart is the treatment of mentally and physically handicapped patients and she has treated patients on every end of the spectrum and prides herself on making sure that each patient receives the absolute best care possible.
Dr Duncan has volunteered time and provided free dental care for deserving underprivileged members of the local southeastern Oklahoma area since beginning her practice in 1994, with the final amount for 2017 being over $50,000 locally.
